The information Point of Circuit Court in Wroc³aw started to operate on the 1st of March 2005. It is located in the main hallway of Circuit Court - entrance from the street Sħdowa 1. The contact with the point is provided by three phone numbers:

and the e-mail address: punkt.informacyjny@wroclaw.so.gov.pl. The service of the inquirers and the parties is led by three person with a higher education and a big professional experience.

The information point was created in order to provide the parties in the court with the initial service and to facilitate obtaining essential information concerning legal proceedings, the layout of court rooms and secretariats. It is combined with the postal point of Circuit Court in Wroc³aw, what also enables the preliminary check of pleadings being placed, e.g. if they are signed, if the appropriate number of copies is enclosed, if the pleadings include attachments required for a given case.


The tasks of the information point are the following:

 
  1. informing about the functioning divisions of circuit court and the district courts and about the range of their working (territorial and substantial jurisdiction),
  2. informing about the location of the divisions and their secretariats and about other rooms in the court,
  3. pointing to the seats of other courts and also giving the phone numbers to courts, their divisions and working hours,
  4. pointing to the jurisdiction of the courts of all instances,
  5. making addresses and phone numbers of some out of court institutions available, e.g. of Provincial Office, Marshal's Office, Town's Office, public prosecotor's offices, police headquarters, Ministry of Justice, Constitutional ribunal, Ombudsman, European Court of Human Rights,
  6. making available lists of solicitors', counselors', notary's and bailiff's offices and of sworn translators, if need be of institutions and associations providing legal aid free of charge,
  7. informing about the ways of instituting proceedings and basic documents which must be filed in a case,
  8. distribution of official forms, e.g. in a simplified civil proceedings,
  9. making available examples of writtings and pleadings, e.g. suits, applications in the most typical categories of matters,
  10. informing about legal expenses and fees and the way of payment along with giving the court's account,
  11. informing about the possibility and way of applying for legal aid,
  12. informing about trial dates and locations, about closing the case and if the sittings of the court are appointed,
  13. pointing to the right court rooms,
  14. informing about the kinds of means of appeal, dates of filing them and the procedure connected with it.
